Yamaha Raider Clean Up

Final Product

Piture on the left shows were the relocated coil and fuel tank vent and fuel regulator were located.

Notice the picture on the right the M10 bolt covers to cover up the non black bolts also cables hooks have to be cut off

After installing Big Air Kit use these instruction to mount the way I did.

Parts list:

  1. Thunder Mfg big air kit
  2. 3/8" Fuel line
  3. 1/2" steel spacer bought from Lowe's or Home Depot
  4. 1" steel spacer bought from Lowe's or Home Depot
  5. 3" 1/4 bolt, nut, washer, lock washer bought from Lowe's or Home Depot

Using the coil mount from the right side of bike Cut off all extra mounts except that portion for the coils and the rubber gromet to hold the side cover on. Remove ruber grommet and mount to were the front of the stck aircleaner mounted to the frame. Mount the front coils to them and mount the sensor from the stock air cleaner to the rear bolt on the right side coil.

Using the spacers, thread first coil then 1" spacer the next coil then the 1/2" spacer bolt coils to mount for rear sensor that came with big air kit. Slice cover on the coil cables to ensure enough spread from fron coils to the rear coils. Attach cables to coil making sure they are replace in the same order they came off. ( on mine coil wires labeled 2 were on the front cyclinder)

Run the 3/8" hose off of fuel rail off throttle bodies to the Fuel regulator and tuck in under the fuel tank next winter I will be making a bracket to mount hardware to. Factory fuel line will not be used here. Run more fuel line back to the lower fuel tank.relocate vent lines for fuel tank under tank like the fuel regulator. Front coils go to front cylinder and rear coils go to rear cyclinder then replace tank.
